While Spider-Man 2 wasn't a bad flick by any means, I always wondered what would happened if they had filmed the movie from the Michael Chabon screenplay. I hadn't actually read his script, but I'm an obsessive wonderer. Besides, I had heard nothing but good things about it.
And now, the gods have smiled down upon us. McSweeney's has put up his unused Spider-Man 2 script, which can be found here. Get it while the gettin's good.
WHAT'S NEW? (4/09/08)
It's a bit slow moving on the script front lately. But being the trooper than I am, I updated today anyway. Instead of a full fledged script or two, today's offering is a whopping three pages of a screenplay. Sounds like slim pickings, I know. But still, they're the first three pages to the highly anticipated screenplay of "W." For those who've been hibernating for the winter, this one's set to star Josh Brolin as the titular George and shall be directed by Ollie Stone himself. It could possibly single-handedly gain Mr. Stone his soul back, which I'd have to assuming he's been missing for quite a while.
A quick aside: Did anybody have a better year than Josh Brolin in 2007? The guy went from almost completely off my radar to becoming my new hero. I never thought the Goonie punk had it in him...except for his role in Flirting With Disaster. He killed in that one, too.
